Using our new bespoke electronic chip timing system we hope to be able to accurately time each competitor on both laps, enabling a half way split swim time. The swim exit lends itself to an ideal viewing area for spectators. Following the swim, a fast, very scenic bike course awaits, could this be the event to gain that Personal Best? Finally the run comprises of an out and back, road and trail 10Km, part of it following the beautiful Pocklington canal. Cafe and refreshment facilities are available at the venue as well as a children’s play area. Nature walks around the lake offer plenty of opportunity to observe the wildlife. Plenty to keep the spectators entertained whilst the competitors are tackling the Allerthorpe Classic Triathlon.
