Based at Driffield Sports Centre, this early season event is ideal for both novice and experienced triathlete. The swim takes place in a heated 6 lane 25 metre pool. The bike course is a very scenic, one lap course. The run course utilises both the roads, paths and large grassed areas around the sports centre.

Situated on the outskirts of York, this newly developed, purpose built Lakeland Park offers a very nice setting for the Allerthorpe races. The swim comprises 1 lap of the lake with full view of the competitors at all times. An ideal event to choose as your first encounter into open water triathlon.

An established, well supported event for the Junior Triathletes, the event takes place at Archbishop Holgates School in York. The swim uses a heated 6 lane 25 metre pool, whilst both the bike and run take place on the large grass playing fields within the school grounds.

Following on from the earlier sprint distance event, the classic distance provides a further challenge to all competitors. The bike course covers a very fast scenic route, perhaps the course to produce a personal best? The run comprises of a superb run alongside the beautiful Pocklington canal path.
